Pork is always a brilliant choice for the barbecue. It's naturally low in salt while being a great source of protein, minerals and vitamins. To put this into perspective roughly 100 grams of pork is about half an adults recommended amount of protein in a day.
Different cuts of pork will have different levels of fat and when trimmed it contains less saturated fat then unsaturated fat. That caveman diet doesn't look so bad now does it!
